All Colors Going Green
At ProTranslating, we understand that our existence is not isolated from the world around us, but rather interconnected with it, and as such we take our community responsibility seriously. Having been founded by a man and a woman, diversity and equal opportunity have become part of who we are. Today, we can boast of a team comprised of over 70 percent minority employees, creating a multicultural environment where different ideas and experiences come together and drive us forward.
As a member of our global community, ProTranslating has participated in worldwide service efforts, such as matching donations for disaster victims overseas, sponsoring food drives at company picnics, and contributing to hurricane relief efforts in South Florida and the Caribbean.
As part of our efforts to be a responsible member of our society, ProTranslating is facing head-on the challenge of becoming a green office. Part of our strategy involves the recycling of all paper waste generated in the office, making sure all collateral material and promotional items are produced in an eco-friendly manner, supplying our kitchen with bio-degradable products only, and setting all our electronic equipment to run in an energy-efficient manner. ProTranslating fosters a lively debate among its employees, with everyone becoming a participant in our efforts to protect our environment.
