Goal of Position:
To ensure quality in the translation of projects by performing thorough translation, editing, and quality control
Responsibility:
- Adhere to the project plan assigned by Account Manager, Project Manager, Project Coordinator for each project
- Create project glossary and use any vocabulary that is specific to the job or client
- Use translation tools such as Trados / MemoQ whenever applicable
- Follow any guidelines set forth by the Account Manager, Project Manager, Project Coordinator with regards to translation and editing
- Translate documents or web pages
- Maintain open lines of communications with translators (in-house and freelance)
- Supervise and provide constant feedback and guidance to translators
- Provide constant written feedback of translator’s performance to Account Manager
- Handle diverse initial conversion projects and updates as needed
- Communicate with Account Manager when deadlines will not be met in order to make necessary arrangements with client
- Solely responsible for final product including images and consistent vocabulary/terminology throughout the project
Authority:
Approve/Disapprove/Change translation to meet client requirements
Position Profile:
Required Experience: 3-5 years experience as a translator or other language related job
Required Education: Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Translations
Special Skills: Native fluency in at least 1 language and strong command of at least 1 other language. Knowledge in additional languages is strongly preferred. Basic computer skills are required (Microsoft Office)

Project Coordinator
Goal of Position:
To manage the efficiency, productivity and quality of translation projects by scheduling and monitoring work flows, analyzing departmental data and managing project staff.
Responsibility:
- Receives and assigns updates, re-designs, projects to translation team
- Provides the translation team all the necessary tools ex: glossaries, and guidelines to follow.
- Communicate effectively with client
- Forecast and monitor updates production
- Communicate, on a daily basis with translation team to offer technical and language support
Position Profile:
Required Experience: 2+ yrs. Translation ,and/or Administrative experience
Required Education: Associate’s Degree or higher in Business Administration or Language Related field
Special Skills: Translation and Editing skills, Good Communication, Ability to provide support to others, Computer Skills, Bilingual English/Spanish and/ or other target language
Supervises Others: Yes

Account Executive
Goal of Position:
Deliver quality translations, to established PTS clients, in a timely and cost-effective manner by scheduling work flows, reviewing translations, assisting/training new account executives, and managing the use of employees
Responsibility:
- Manage both new and existing company accounts
- Manage the production, editing, proofreading, typesetting, A/V, and delivery of jobs in various languages
- Develop project plans, that include cost and timeline estimates, for each incoming job
- Supervising in-house and freelance staff of translators, editors, and proofreaders
- Assign jobs to translators/editors
- Serve as liaison between the firm and clients
- Supervise and perform data entry and invoicing
Position Profile:
Required Experience: Minimum 3 years experience as an account executive. Experience in sales, customer satisfaction, and project management.
Required Education: Associates degree
Special Skills: Computer proficient (Microsoft Office), detail oriented, project management skills, data entry, bilingual, management skills, people skills.

Proofreader
Goal of Position:
To ensure quality in the translation by performing thorough editing, proofreading and quality control
Responsibility:
- Adhere to the project plan assigned by Account Executive and or Traffic Manager
- Use translation tools such as Trados/MemoQ whenever applicable
- Follow any guidelines set forth by, Account Executive and/ or Traffic Manager with regards to proofreading
- Proofread documents
- Maintain open lines of communications with Traffic Manager
- Communicate with Traffic Manager when deadlines will not be met in order to make necessary arrangements with client
- Solely responsible for final proofreading of product including images and consistent vocabulary/terminology
Position Profile:
Required Experience: 3-5 years experience as a proofreader
Required Education: Associate’s Degree or combining experience
Special Skills: Native fluency in at least 1 language and strong command of at least 1 other language. Knowledge in additional languages is strongly preferred. Basic computer skills are required (Microsoft Office)
