Business Development Associate

Protranslating, Inc, a leader in the foreign language translation industry which services fortune 500 and 100 companies, is seeking qualified Business Development Associates. This newly created, entry-level position will be part of the Marketing team and will be a critical function in helping to drive revenue growth and other strategic opportunities for our Account Executives.

GOAL OF THE POSITION

  • The primary function of the role is designed around researching, developing, qualifying and nurturing leads and prospects that will be handed-off to our seasoned and professional Account Executive veterans. As you will be working closely with these professionals, this is a great opportunity to learn about this fast-paced and exciting industry while providing you with growth opportunity and professional advancement opportunity.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years of relevant sales/marketing experience
  • Experience with email marketing, lead generation, marketing automation, and/or web analytics
  • Proficient using smart lists and marketing automation technology, Marketo preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM technology, NetSuite preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Innate drive, self-motivation and work ethic
  • Ability to work on the phone and meet strict daily activity metrics
  • Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience required

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and build various email lists and campaigns, including the design templates, calls-to-action, and content used in your email sends
  • Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.)
  • Measure results and optimize the nurture tracks for these segments to convert leads to customers
  • Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing productivity of our email sends
  • Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email
  • Host qualifying calls with prospects to nurture the sales process
  • Meet Daily and Weekly Activity Based Metrics (Dials, Conversations, Qualified Opportunities), logged in the CRM
  • Effectively communicate Protranslating’s value messaging in conversations with prospects
  • Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience
  • Partner with our experienced Account Executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest
  • Work closely with Sales Leadership, Account Executives, and Marketing on various projects that are supporting the entire sales team
