Account Manager – Sales

  • Build business growth, specifically for the Interpreting department, by identifying and selling prospects and maintaining relationships with clients.


  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a related position, business administration, management, and/or sales experience preferable
  • Ability to analyze, assess and address prospects needs in the enterprise accounts, while clearly establishing the value of our products and services
  • Demonstrated successful selling in a consultative/team environment and building new business within existing territory is essential
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong written, verbal, presentational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint software programs
  • Degree or Certification in Interpreting
  • State and Federal certification strongly preferred


  • Meet assigned daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets for prospecting activity, funnel quality and size, and sales revenue closed
  • Identify business opportunities by researching prospects and evaluating their position in the industry and introduces sales opportunities
  • Pursue prospects or leads (inbound calls, web, and referrals) as assigned by management
  • Telephone prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through sales pipeline
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements
  • Sell services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions, preparing proposal, and closing sales opportunities
  • Remain current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
  • Develop and implement plans and sales strategies to close larger opportunities
  • Provide timely documentation of all sales activity in company CRM using required fields and processes
  • Create, maintain, and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and funnel
  • Improve customer retention through programs and service provided to the customer
  • Maintain working knowledge of all company services
  • Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance
  • Manage assigned workload including setting goals, prioritizing work, evaluating results and taking corrective action as needed
  • Work closely with sales leadership to develop concierge and client services SOPs
  • Participate in meetings with Sales Consultant
